Well, here’s the last page of this story. Wednesday, I’m gonna put up some work that I’ve been working on, Friday the cover of the next issue, and monday we start on the new story. The next story has some funny bits in it as well, so stay tuned!
On another note, I need to let the readers know about a few things:
One of my favorite artists, Joe Jusko, is having a little bit of problems with getting his poster for the fortieth anniversary of Vampirella published. The publisher says that there are too few pre-orders for this poster, which has me frankly shocked. It, in my opinion is one of Joe’s best works, and as such deserves to be available to the public. Anyways, if you get the chance, head over here to see the poster, and here to pre-order it. It is truly one of Joe’s best pieces to date, and I hope this takes off.
Another thing: Allison Sohn and her amazingly talented husband, Adam Hughes, are holding a charity art auction on ebay for an Old English Sheepdog rescue based in Atlanta. If you are an aficionado of the breed, or like Adam and Allison’s work, you may want to check it out.
Also: My friend Lars Brown, creator and artist of North World, has his third book out this week, compiling all of the short stories that take place in the Northworld. It’s out through Oni Press, so if you can buy it at your local comic shop, please do, or get it from his site. He also has original artwork for sale, so, check it out.
On a personal note, most of the Black Cats originals are available for sale, just drop me a line at remy@blackcatscomic.com for details.
Enough pimpage, back to work!
UPDATE: Allison and Adam’s auctions are closed, making over $2,500. Thanks for the support!
